Foundations
For Success
With AmazoN

The foundations of your Amazon business are all those
elements that make the difference to your long term
success. A good trading relationship with Amazon
depends on mutual profitability. Our Commercial
team are comfortable on both Vendor and Seller
platforms, and will be able to provide great advice
to clients on either platform to help improve your
profitability. Our Operations team will also
check to ensure that your Amazon Coop
deductions (for example, your damage
allowance) are charged accurately and
that you are paid correctly for the stock
you have sold.

Replenishment is also crucially important, both from an in-stock and cost point of view.  Our Ops team review all the charges levied by Amazon that relate to supply and product preparation (such as bubble-wrapping to protect the product in transit).  They translate this insight into training or recommended process changes that will help to minimise costs and maximise days in stock.

To facilitate our work on all the other levels of our building blocks process, it’s important to ensure that you have all the relevant permissions.  Brand registry is the most universally important, but we will also maintain records of your barcode ownership to ensure we are able to act on your behalf to manage your listings.  For Sellers, we will also help guide you through the ‘Know Your Customer’ process.

Lastly, our expert team will check whether your own products are the ‘Featured Offer’ (otherwise known as buy box ownership) which tells you whether your own product is the default purchase for any given listing, or whether shoppers are being offered a third party product with greater priority.  This could be because the 3P offer is cheaper, or because your own product is out of stock or is suppressed.  Whatever the reason, we will work to ensure that your priority products regain the featured offer as quickly as possible, and that learnings are built into future fulfilment, pricing and promotional activity.

Together, all these focus areas form the foundation of your Amazon business.  They are our first area of focus when working with a new client and they take priority when something goes wrong for an existing client.
