Amazon VIDEO Creative Agent

At unBoxed in Nashville, Amazon announced their Video Agent, a major step forward in their use of AI to help generate the different creative elements that are required for a successful Amazon business. Their intent is to try to further democratise the platform. They want advertising formats and placements to be available to all, not solely to those businesses that have the budgets for expensive production teams. This theme was revisited at unBoxed London, where they announced that this functionality has been rolled out in the UK and EU following the beta launch in the USA.

There are two elements to Amazon’s creative support for Vendors and Sellers on the platform:

  • Amazon Creative Studio, for still images or those with a bit of animation
  • Amazon Creative Agent, for video creative

Both applications are in the same space on the Amazon Ad Console, but function a little differently. This blog/vlog focuses on the video agent in the Creative Studio, giving a practical demonstration of the platform and how to build the perfect video for your needs.

The Amazon Creative Studio stands apart from other video-creating AIs because it produces product images with accurate product representation. There is no hallucination, but there are occasional glitches. You should check each image carefully before deploying it, but the products are usually ‘true’. The product lighting is also consistent with the context of the product in the film.

This video demonstrates how to use the studio to get to the results you want, and shows some results to highlight the quality of the final finished videos you can create.
